Local Marketing Templates for Small Business Owners
Digital License & Usage Info
Digital License & Usage Info
Thank you for purchasing our digital marketing templates. This page explains how you can use your template pack, what is included with your license, and what is not allowed. Our goal is to keep things simple, fair, and useful for local business owners, marketers, and agencies.
What Your Purchase Includes
When you purchase a template pack, you receive a digital license to access, customize, and use the included designs for marketing purposes.
Your purchase may include items such as:
- Canva template links
- Social media designs
- Flyers and posters
- Postcards and coupon cards
- Review request cards
- Loyalty cards
- Referral cards
- Other local marketing materials included in the pack
The exact files and formats may vary depending on the product you purchase.
Who Can Use the Templates
Each template pack license is intended for one business brand or one client business.
If you are a local business owner, you may use the purchased pack freely for your own business. This includes using the templates for your own locations, services, promotions, customer campaigns, and everyday marketing.
If you are an agency, designer, freelancer, consultant, or marketer buying on behalf of a client, one purchased pack may be used for one client business only. If you want to use the same pack for another client, that client needs a separate purchase or license.
Using Templates for Your Own Business
If you are purchasing as a business owner, you may:
- Customize the templates with your business name, logo, colors, contact details, offers, and images
- Use the designs for your own local marketing campaigns
- Use the designs across your social media, website, email, print materials, and offline promotions
- Print the designs for flyers, postcards, coupons, cards, signs, or other promotional use
- Use the templates for multiple locations under the same business brand
- Reuse and edit the designs as often as needed for your own business
You do not need to buy the same pack again for regular marketing use within the same business.
Using Templates for Agency or Client Work
If you are purchasing as an agency, freelancer, consultant, or service provider, you may use one purchased pack for one client business.
You may:
- Customize the templates for that client
- Add the client’s logo, colors, contact details, photos, offers, and business information
- Deliver final customized designs to that client
- Use the designs as part of a marketing service for that specific client
- Help that client use the designs for online and offline marketing
You may not use one purchase for multiple separate client businesses. Each client needs their own purchased pack or license.
Example:
- Allowed: You buy one cleaning service pack and customize it for one cleaning company client.
- Not allowed: You buy one cleaning service pack and use it for five different cleaning company clients.
- Required: Each separate client business needs its own pack purchase.
Commercial Use
Commercial use is included for the licensed business or client.
This means the templates may be used to promote a business, advertise services, share offers, attract customers, create printed marketing materials, and support real local marketing campaigns.
Commercial use does not mean you can resell, redistribute, or repackage the editable templates themselves.
What You Can Do
You may:
- Edit the templates in Canva
- Change text, colors, images, fonts, layout elements, and contact information
- Add your own branding
- Download the finished designs as PNG, JPG, PDF, or other Canva-supported formats
- Print the designs for local marketing
- Share finished designs online
- Use finished designs in paid or organic marketing campaigns
- Create multiple versions for the same licensed business
- Make copies inside your Canva account for easier editing
What You Cannot Do
You may not:
- Resell the editable Canva templates as your own template product
- Share, sell, or distribute the original Canva template links
- Upload the templates to another marketplace, membership site, template store, or digital product bundle
- Claim ownership of the original template designs
- Give the editable templates away as a freebie, bonus, or lead magnet
- Use one pack for multiple unrelated businesses or multiple agency clients
- Sell the templates as blank or editable designs
- Include the templates in software, apps, courses, memberships, or template libraries without written permission
Sharing With Your Team
You may share the templates with team members, employees, or contractors who are helping you customize designs for the licensed business.
Team members may only use the templates for the same licensed business or client project. They may not reuse the templates for their own business, another client, or another project unless a separate license is purchased.
Using Canva
Our templates are designed to be edited in Canva. In most cases, a free Canva account is enough to customize the templates.
Some designs may include Canva Pro elements, photos, fonts, or graphics. If that happens, you can either:
- Replace them with free Canva elements
- Use your own images or graphics
- Upgrade to Canva Pro if you choose
- Download with Canva’s paid element option if available
Canva’s own terms and licensing rules also apply to any Canva elements, images, fonts, or assets used inside Canva.
Downloads and Printing
You may download your finished designs for digital or print use.
For printing, we recommend downloading your design as a PDF Print file when available. You can also enable crop marks and bleed in Canva if your printer requires them.
Before sending any file to print, please check:
- Spelling and grammar
- Phone numbers and website URLs
- Address and contact details
- Offer dates and coupon codes
- Image quality
- Printer size requirements
- Bleed and margin requirements
We are not responsible for printing errors caused by incorrect edits, low-quality uploaded images, wrong file settings, or printer requirements.
Refunds and Digital Access
Because these are digital products, access is usually delivered instantly after purchase. Once digital files or template links have been accessed, downloaded, or delivered, refund eligibility may be limited according to the refund policy shown at checkout or on our website.
Please review the product details carefully before purchasing.
Template Access and Backups
We recommend saving your template links and making a copy of each design inside your own Canva account.
To stay organized, you may want to:
- Create a folder in Canva for your purchased templates
- Duplicate a design before making major edits
- Keep one clean original copy
- Save exported files in a separate folder on your computer or cloud storage
This helps protect your work if you accidentally delete or change something.
Support
If you have trouble accessing your template links or have a question about your purchase, please contact support with your order details.
We can help with access questions, general usage questions, and basic guidance. However, we do not provide custom design editing, printing setup, or Canva account support unless specifically stated in the product offer.
Important Note
This license is designed to allow practical use for real local marketing while protecting the original template products. If you are unsure whether your intended use is allowed, please contact us before using the templates in that way.
